Brian Baltar

Sound for film and product experiences.

Sound professional working across film post-production and product sound design.

Focused on dialogue, Foley, sound design and surround mixing, shaping sound with precision, clarity and narrative intention.

Work includes international film productions and festival exhibitions, alongside sound development for interactive and educational products.

My work is focused on three areas:

Dialogue editing

Crafting clear, natural and emotionally coherent dialogue for film, documentaries and series.

Dialogue editing is where performances are shaped and continuity is built. My work focuses on restoring production dialogue, smoothing transitions between takes and preparing the tracks for a seamless final mix.

Typical work includes:

• dialogue cleaning and restoration
• editing and timing adjustments
• clip gain and dynamic shaping
• noise reduction and artifact repair
• preparation for final mix

Featured Work:

7.1 Re-Recording Mixing

Final mix for film, integrating dialogue, music and effects for theatrical playback.

Final surround mixing for film, integrating dialogue, music and sound design into a cohesive cinematic experience.

The mix is where the sonic narrative of the film comes together, shaping space, dynamics and emotional impact while ensuring clarity and balance across all elements.

Designed for theatrical playback and festival deliverables, with attention to spatial detail and storytelling.

Third Place — Fashion Film

Sound design, dialogue editing and final stereo mix for Third Place, a fashion short film created for the California-based brand AMORE A ME.

The project explores a minimal and atmospheric sonic aesthetic, combining subtle textures, spatial ambience and music-driven storytelling.

This piece reflects my approach to sound: shaping emotion and rhythm while supporting the visual narrative.

Product Sound Design

Crafting sonic identities and interaction sounds for products and technological experiences.

Sound is a fundamental part of how we perceive and interact with technology.

I develop sound identities and interaction feedback for products, helping create intuitive, engaging and recognizable user experiences.

Selected Work:

Medical Auscultation Sound Library

Development of a medical sound library for training simulators produced by Nasco Healthcare.

The project involved designing and producing auscultation sounds used to train healthcare students in identifying physiological and pathological conditions through stethoscope listening.

The library includes cardiac, pulmonary and bowel sounds representing both healthy patients and clinically relevant conditions.

These sounds are used in medical training environments, helping students develop diagnostic listening skills in realistic simulation scenarios.

Sound Work:

Heart sounds
Lung sounds
Bowel sounds

Healthy and pathological conditions for auscultation training.

Studio & Facilities

My studios are designed for professional audio post-production, combining a dedicated 7.1 mixing environment with a Foley and sound design space for creating and recording original sounds.
7.1 Mixing Room

A calibrated surround mixing environment designed for  editing and post-production. Ideal for dialogue, music and effects integration in theatrical formats with accurate translation across different playback environments.

Foley & Sound Design Studio

A dedicated recording and creation space for producing original sound effects and textures.Used for Foley recording, object manipulation and sound design experiments for film and product sound projects.

It was the incredible attention to detail on all things related to sound design. The Foley work was outstanding and made our short shine.
They exceeded my expectations. I would definitely work with them again, they were so easy to work with. It's been a pleasure. Thank you!
Good sound, top quality, fast delivery. This was the second time I entrusted myself to his hands, and it certainly won't be the last! Highly recommended.
